- 4 strips bacon chopped
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 (10 ounce) package frozen butternut squash puree thawed
- 2 cups low-sodium chicken stock
- 1 cup whole milk
- 8 ounces elbow macaroni
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 1/4 cup Kids Cheez Blend
- Cook bacon in 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium heat until crisp. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate. Reserve 2 teaspoons bacon grease in the skillet.
- Add the garlic and sauté for 30 second or until golden brown.
- Add butternut squash puree, chicken broth, and milk; stir to combine. Bring to a boil. Add pasta. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add broccoli and cook for another 5 minutes or until pasta and broccoli are tender. Stir in Kids Cheez Blend until completely combined. Stir in bacon. Season with salt and pepper if desired.
