The salsa is the key to these tasty Southwest Chicken Burgers so don't skimp on that; it has a flavour that just can't be tamed!

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds lean ground chicken
  • 1 tablespoon Roasted Garlic Grapeseed Oil
  • 3 tablespoons Poco Picante Salsa Mix
  • 1 tablespoon Montreal Steak Rub
  • 1 tablespoon Roasted Garlic Grapeseed Oil
  • 6 hamburger buns
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 avocado sliced
  • 6 leaves lettuce

DIRECTIONS

  • Start by putting together 1 tablespoon of roasted garlic grape seed oil, ground chicken, Montreal Steak Rub and Poco Picante Salsa Mix in a freezer kit.
  • Tie the freezer kit tightly to ensure that it is well sealed.
  • Allow it to freeze now for some time.
  • After that, make sure that you loosen your freezer kit completely before you start following the rest of the recipe.
  • Thereafter, cut and put your meat into shapes of 6 burger patties.
  • Now heat the 1 tablespoon of roasted garlic grapeseed oil that remained using a non stick skillet of 12 inches over moderate heat.
  • After that, sauté the burger patties for about 5 to 6 minutes at a heat of 165 degrees F, making sure that you do it on all sides until it is cooked through. (use a pan).
  • The meal is now ready.
  • Serve it on hamburger buns with the mayonnaise, lettuce and the sliced avocado.
