NOTES

We are all excited on hearing the word opa!. It brings with it a sense of happiness and we tend to get excited. The word opa came from the Greek who believed they were at opa! when they celebrated life to its fullest. During this celebrations, they usually found their pride in providing homemade traditional foods that were all fresh, and very affordable and they would enjoy the food as whole in the spirit of their Greek families. From this first definition I am sure you can now tell why they decided to call it opa sausage and peppers. It is a very delicious recipe.
Opa sausage is simply the best sausage you can buy. It is usually fully cooked and ready to be tossed into your peppers. It is basically a dish with lots of peppers which are neither jalapeno nor poblano. It is mainly served with thick toasted garlic bread or rolled on a sandwich and trust me it is a very hearty meal. Where are the sausage lovers? This is something for you which you must try. A recipe for good spicy and juicy sausage. The recipe is very easy and also takes less time to make. It is a great sausage recipe to enjoy with your family during the holidays without being stuck in the kitchen for so long.
I think the colors are kind of festive and I recommend that you use both red and green peppers. That will look great and even those who are not sausage lovers will definitely be tempted to have a taste of this spicy sausages. I like serving them while the sausages are sliced up and then I mix them up. The sausage soaks up the flavors so well. For those prefer it very hot, you can add dried peppers. They will also make the juice thicker.
