Pizza is a favorite to everyone. It is however often associated with binge eating or something quick to grab when you're out in the town. Pizza is good for your health. Eat pizza in moderation! In one tasty pizza, you will get vegetables, dairy, lean meat, fruit, and grains depending on the recipe.

Ensure to flour the base of your pizza and that it has no oil or toppings within a half inch of the crust. Otherwise, it won't slide easily to and from your pizza stone. However; you may as well purchase decent pizza dough from your grocery store.

Eggplant pizza is one good example of a vegan pizza. Eggplants are low in calories but rich in vitamins and minerals. You don’t have to peel your eggplant during preparation. The skin is edible. Adding salt to your eggplant slices helps draw out its juices which can at times be bitter. Salting also helps tighten the flesh as well as season it.

When you go to buy eggplant, pick a few to sample how they feel. If they feel heavy in your hand, it is a sign that the flesh is fresh and in excellent condition. You should choose one whose skin is taut, vivid, and shiny, as that means it's freshly harvested.

Eggplant having dull skin is an indication of poor storage, therefore poor quality. If the skin has wrinkles, it is a sign that the eggplant was harvested a long time ago and is old. This could mean that it's going to be bitter, as bitterness can come with age.
